Officers discovered a 62-year-old woman, Cynthia Delane Burt, and a 3-year-old boy, Desmond Burt Jr., dead in a back room. The injuries sustained by both victims led detectives to classify this investigation as a homicide. A person of interest has been taken into custody, police said.
