Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspected quick-change armed robber

Kamloops RCMP are seeking information about an armed robbery in Sahali just before 3 p.m. Monday.

Police responded to a commercial building in the 1200 block of Summit Drive.

As RCMP were on the scene, the suspect reportedly changed clothes and fled on foot.

The police canine service unit was brought in and found a gun and alleged clothing, including a neon green hat, camouflage jacket, white sweater and black trousers.

“The investigation is still in its early stages, but police are asking anyone who saw a white male changing clothes behind a business at the time of the robbery, or who has any information related to this incident, including CCTV and dashcam footage, please contact the police immediately,” said Cpl Cristal Evelyne.
