Armed bandits killed one person and abducted Amos Mangbon, the rector of School of Statistics, Manchokin Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
According to PUNCHthe terrorists kidnapped Mangbon and a lady on Monday.
“The terrorists stormed the community at night and killed one person, while a lady was kidnapped, including the rector of the Federal School of Statistics,” a source reportedly said.

News of Mangbon’s abduction emerged weeks after two ad hoc bed net workers were killed in the same local government area.
John Auta, a resident of Kaura, told reporters that the terrorists stormed the community with sophisticated weaponry, firing sporadically until someone was injured.
Auta complained about how some communities in the area had been attacked by armed assailants. He said security guards were not doing enough to save the area from repeated attacks.

Meanwhile, Kaduna State Police Command has yet to confirm the attack.
When contacted, Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna state police spokesman, said he would make findings.
